Description: A good 19th century flared bottle vase finely painted with a green five-clawed dragon leaping amidst clouds in pursuit of a flaming pearl, the dragon with angered facial expression flanked by a pair of horns and revealing gnarled teeth, the mythical beast with its outstretched claws of sharpened talons in flight all above a ring of crashing waves. The vase is finely incised with two bands of anhua decoration.
