A badly damaged Famille rose vase measuring 68 cm tall has sold at Adam Partridges sale room on June the 28th for £98,000 plus 18% buyers premium.

The vase bore a Jiaqing reign mark and was described as period. (The vase is of the period, Nice thing shame about the damage)

Lot Description: A large Chinese porcelain vase of baluster form with flared rim and pierced stylised dragon handles, painted in enamels with various flower heads, auspicious character marks and stylised mythical beasts on lime green ground to upper section and with blossoming branches of peonies, chrysanthemum and prunus, each section with border of ruyi decorated with floral motifs and lucky bats to base band, Jiaqing mark and period, height 68.5cm (af).
